Join Nela, Business Administration student at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. We’ve caught her on a sunny day so check out that gorgeous walk she gets in before she heads off to campus. As it’s almost the end of a module, her days are mainly filled will self-study and group work – and the campus library seems a great place for everything. She has a busy day as she also goes to the Center for Entrepreneurship for a workshop on setting up your own business. Then it’s time for lunch before heading off to the bookshop and catching a great sunset over the historic city centre.
Join Yoana, a Communication and Multimedia Design student in Leeuwarden. She takes you through a busy day in her life, starting with a tour of her apartment in the Student Stay accommodation close to the NHL Stenden Leeuwarden campus. She also shows you the gym and around town where she goes out for dinner and then to a club with friends.
Meet Kateryna, a Ukrainian Hospitality Management student. She’ll tell you all about her student life in Leeuwarden, including about the house she shares with her Ukranian friends, the Friday market in the city centre and the local supermarket. She’ll tell you more about her student life in Leeuwarden, and you'll get to see round the house she rents with her friends, join her on campus as she studies, takes a lunch break and goes for a kickboxing session at the health club, and then finishes the day off with a night on the town. Meet Milla, 2nd year International Business student, as she takes you through her typical day studying at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. She shows you round where she's living, where she has lectures and where she likes to meet up and study with her friends. And what's her favourite way of getting around? A bike, of course!
Meet Sara, European Studies student at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. She starts her day off at the gym – and enjoys the gorgeous view from her apartment. Then it’s off to uni to work with her group on a presentation, via the canteen for some snacks, of course! They worked really hard on their short film on teaching about cultural identity and got it all finished in time for Sara to head off to work. Her work can be anything from cleaning to driving and even takes her to one of the Frisian islands. Back in Leeuwarden, she makes time to hang out with her friends before her day finishes.
