We address criminological issues with insights from modern criminology and professionals from the field. We focus on practical applications and current events; for example, how can the riots in Amsterdam around the Ajax – Maccabi Tel Aviv football match be explained? What could the authorities have done to prevent the riots? How can judicial errors (like the Marianne Vaatstra case) be prevented? What can be done against organized crime? What kind of influence has the geopolitical tenson on crime in The Netherlands? In collaboration with professionals from the field, we examine these and other themes in criminology and look for practical interventions. Our focus is always on practical applications and future issues.
